Allcargo Logistics unveils 1.5 Lakh sq. ft. grade a built-to-suit warehouse

Allcargo Logistics Limited, a part of the Allcargo Group, has taken a major step in strengthening India’s warehousing and supply chain infrastructure by launching a state-of-the-art Grade A built-to-suit (BTS) warehouse at Alur, Nelamangala near Bengaluru, Karnataka. Developed under All cargo Supply Chain Private Limited (ASCPL), this 1.5 lakh sq. ft. tech-enabled facility has been custom-built for a Swedish global leader in the electrification business.
A Strategic Hub for Electrification Components
The new BTS facility is designed to manage the handling, storage, and distribution of the company’s electrical components. Serving as the Swedish major’s largest warehouse in India, the Alur centre will function as a consolidated distribution hub, enabling faster and more efficient cargo movement. With its prime location, the facility provides superior shipment connectivity, ensuring seamless supply chain operations across the region.

Multi-tier shelving racks and heavy-duty racking with product-suitable elevation.
On-floor storage locations to optimize space utilization.
Material handling equipment such as Reach Trucks, VRC, Spiral Conveyors, Double Deep Battery-Operated Pallet Trucks (BOPT), and Customized Single Fork HPTs for swift goods movement.
This advanced design ensures smooth and streamlined operations, improving throughput and reducing turnaround times.

In line with ASCPL’s tech-driven approach, the Alur facility leverages the SAP system along with advanced scanning solutions to enhance functional efficiency and visibility. These systems provide better accuracy, real-time monitoring, and improved decision-making capabilities.
