Among the biggest gainers in February 2026 was the Hyundai i20. The premium hatchback posted 5,852 units, marking an impressive 61% year-on-year increase from 3,627 units sold in February 2025.

Another Hyundai model performing well was the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios, which recorded 5,589 units sold. This represented a 13% growth compared to 4,940 units sold in the same month last year, indicating steady demand in the compact hatchback category.

Toyota Glanza Sees Sharp Decline

While some models experienced growth, the Toyota Glanza saw a noticeable drop in sales. The hatchback recorded 3,212 units, representing a 30% decline from 4,596 units sold in February 2025.

Tata Altroz and Ignis Close the Top 10

The Tata Altroz secured a spot in the top ten with 2,063 units sold, posting a 29% year-on-year increase compared to 1,604 units last year. Its strong safety ratings and premium features continue to attract buyers.

Closing the list was the Maruti Suzuki Ignis, which recorded 1,848 units sold in February 2026. However, the model experienced a 23% decline compared to 2,394 units sold during the same month last year.
