Google Pixel 10 is the ‘best iPhone’ in Android mobile market in 2025

Google Pixel 10 is the ‘best iPhone’ in Android mobile market in 2025

The smartphone industry has always been defined by two major forces: Apple’s iconic iPhones and the diverse Android ecosystem. In 2025, however, Google’s Pixel 10 series has taken a bold step forward, positioning itself as the Android world’s answer to Apple’s dominance. Some even argue that the Pixel 10 is the “best iPhone” in the Android market a claim that, while ambitious, carries plenty of weight.

A distinctive visual identity

One of the Pixel’s greatest strengths lies in its instantly recognisable design. With the Pixel 10, Google has solidified its place as the second most recognisable smartphone line in the world just behind Apple’s Pro iPhones. While many Android phones blend into one another with similar circular camera bumps and minimalist layouts, the Pixel lineup stands apart thanks to its signature camera bar stretching across the back.

This bold design choice gives the Pixel a unique identity, making it visible from afar and unmistakable in public. The new colour options Moonstone, Jade, and Indigo  add refreshing variety without losing the essence of what makes a Pixel a Pixel. It’s the same design language refined over generations, much like Apple’s own evolution with the iPhone.

Following Apple’s winning strategy

Critics may say the Pixel 10 is too similar to its predecessor, the Pixel 9, offering only incremental changes. Yet, this approach has long been Apple’s secret weapon. From the iPhone 13 Pro to the iPhone 16 Pro, changes have often been subtle whether a new material like titanium or a feature like Dynamic Island while the overall design remained familiar and recognisable.

Google seems to be embracing this strategy, focusing on refinement over reinvention. By preserving its unique identity while introducing small but meaningful updates, Google is creating a product that builds loyalty and aspirational appeal, just like Apple’s iPhones.

Growing visibility and recognition

From airports to shopping malls, the Pixel 10 is increasingly easy to spot in public. In cities like Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok, Pixels have become one of the most commonly seen smartphones, second only to Apple’s Pro iPhones. This visibility is critical: the more recognisable a phone, the stronger its brand identity. Much like Apple’s triangular triple-camera module became iconic, the Pixel’s design is quickly achieving the same status.

A balance of performance and style

Beyond looks, the Tensor G5 chipset powers the Pixel 10, offering improved AI-driven features and seamless performance. This balance of cutting-edge technology and design consistency makes the Pixel not just a pretty face but a serious competitor in the premium smartphone market.

The Tesla of smartphones

If the iPhone is the Ferrari of smartphones exclusive, aspirational, and instantly recognisable the Pixel can be thought of as the Tesla of the smartphone world. It’s innovative, disruptive, and building a loyal fanbase through a bold design language and performance improvements.

Looking ahead

With the Pixel 10, Google has proven that a smartphone doesn’t need to reinvent itself every year to stay relevant. Instead, consistency, subtle refinement, and strong visual identity are enough to capture attention and build long-term success.

The Pixel’s design is no longer just different it’s iconic. And if Google stays on this path, the ‘Pixel look’ could one day become just as popular, and perhaps as influential, as the iPhone itself.
