The participation highlighted DPA Kandla’s growing role in promoting sustainable maritime growth and clean energy initiatives aligned with national priorities.
MoU for Kutch Green Hydrogen Park
During the conference, Shri Sushil Kumar Singh, IRSME, Chairman of DPA Kandla, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Green-Kutch NextGen Pvt. Ltd.. The MoU aims to promote community participation in the green hydrogen ecosystem at Kandla under the National Green Hydrogen Mission.

Plug-and-Play Infrastructure for Green Hydrogen
Under the agreement, DPA Kandla will develop the proposed “Kutch Green Hydrogen Park” with plug-and-play infrastructure. This will allow industry partners to establish modular green hydrogen production and storage facilities with ease. The project aligns closely with India’s Net Zero Vision and is expected to position Kandla as a key hub for green hydrogen development along the western coast.
By integrating advanced infrastructure with policy support, the Green Hydrogen Park is set to attract investments, encourage innovation, and strengthen India’s leadership in the emerging green hydrogen economy.
Gujarat as an Emerging Shipbuilding Hub
