₹250 Crore Logistics Park Opens in Ernakulam, Boosting Kerala’s Warehousing Infrastructure

Kerala’s logistics and supply chain sector has received a significant boost with the launch of a state-of-the-art logistics and warehousing park in Ernakulam district. Developed by NDR Space Private Limited, the project represents a major step toward strengthening Kerala’s industrial and logistics ecosystem. With a total investment of ₹250 crore, the facility spans 16 acres and includes a built-up area of nearly two lakh square feet, designed to support modern warehousing and distribution operations.

The logistics park is one of the key investment proposals that emerged from the Invest Kerala Global Summit 2025, organised by the state’s Industries Department. The summit attracted 449 expressions of interest, out of which 115 projects have already commenced construction, representing investments of more than ₹54,000 crore. The rapid movement of these projects from proposal to execution highlights Kerala’s commitment to accelerating industrial growth and improving logistics infrastructure.

Global companies such as LG and Cipla have already established operations within the park, demonstrating strong confidence from multinational corporations in Kerala’s expanding logistics and distribution capabilities. Their presence also reflects the growing importance of the state as a strategic hub for supply chain management and regional distribution across South India.

The facility has been developed using EDGE-certified environmentally responsible construction, ensuring sustainability and energy efficiency. It also incorporates semi-automated stock management systems, enabling faster inventory tracking, improved operational efficiency, and better warehouse management. These advanced technologies make the park a modern Grade-A logistics infrastructure project designed to meet the needs of large-scale industrial and distribution operations.

Looking ahead, NDR Space has announced ambitious expansion plans to develop 20 lakh square feet of Grade-A warehousing space across Kerala, including six lakh square feet in Ernakulam district. The company’s next major project is planned in Kozhikode district, further strengthening the state’s logistics network and supporting industrial growth across multiple regions.

Once fully operational, the logistics park is expected to generate more than 200 direct and indirect employment opportunities, contributing to local economic development. Overall, the project highlights Kerala’s continued focus on modern logistics infrastructure, investor-friendly policies, and efficient project execution, positioning the state as an emerging logistics and warehousing hub in India.
