VOC Port to showcase green energy milestones at India Maritime Week 2025

VOC Port, one of India’s prominent maritime gateways, is set to shine a spotlight on its remarkable achievements in renewable energy at India Maritime Week 2025, taking place from October 27–31 in Mumbai. The port, known for its proactive approach toward sustainability, continues to lead India’s green port transformation journey through consistent investment in renewable energy and eco-friendly practices.

During the second quarter of FY 2025-26, VOC Port recorded a 28.57% increase in green power generation, producing 79,00,033 units compared to 61,43,737 units in the same period last year. This surge in renewable energy output not only marks a major operational milestone but also significantly reduces environmental impact. The port’s green initiatives helped in cutting CO₂ emissions by 64,78,027 kg, reinforcing its strong commitment to clean energy and environmental responsibility.

At India Maritime Week 2025, VOC Port will showcase its renewable energy accomplishments, sustainability projects, and innovative strategies that align with India’s broader mission of achieving a green maritime ecosystem.
